Letters of support

Hi everyone,

I know some of you have sent me an email, letter or what’s app already but I have to keep spamming you all until I send off the application.

All I am asking for is a short message saying how you feel about it the club and what a great facility it is and how any grant for refurbishment or improvement would be greatly received.

That the club is a great facility in the heart of the village and welcomes everyone. It’s used by schools, community groups and sports clubs, a grant to improve the club would only grow and benefit that.

Below is what I sent out originally.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION!!

Please read! The club needs your support!

Hi everyone,

In 2017 a lot of work went into applying for a grant to improve the facilities of the club.

These improvements were, solar panels, under floor heating, new court floors, newly plastered court walls, better insulation, disabled access, refurbished changing rooms, new fire alarm amongst other things.

A big part of the success of getting rewarded the grant came from the amount of emails and letters we had from a number of sources

Local Schools
Local sports clubs
Community groups

But the biggest majority was the clubs users, mainly members, children who are coached at the club and the parents that bring them.

Now this is the important part...

I'm looking for this kind of overwhelming support again!

These emails or letters can be as short as you like and of course you can elaborate on your love for the club but I would need them to include words that really describe what it is..

It's the centre of the village

a really community facility

open to the community

great facility for children

great for families

good link with local schools

It’s that kind of angle which is everything the club is! But if we don’t make that clear in the application it won’t be clear to the people making the grant decision.

Please make time for this as it’s important we keep the club moving forwards

This time we would like to support the solar panels with batteries, update the changing rooms again as these get a lot of use and possibly update the function room so local community and sports groups can enjoy a better environment.

If it’s a written letter please hand to me or if it’s an email please send to savoysquash@outlook.com

Thanks

Jay
