Important information

The courts will reopen from Saturday 25th July. 4.30pm until 9.30pm

IMPORTANT NOTE ........

• From July 25th, due to social distancing, you will only be able to play a normal match, game, or rallies of squash or racketball if you are from the same household or support bubble (if you are unsure of what is meant by a support bubble, please use this link. THIS IS NOT A SOCIAL BUBBLE
https://www.ageuk.org.uk/information-advice/coronavirus/ coronavirus-guidance/support-bubbles

• For those not in the same household or ‘support bubble’ modified (socially distanced) games and practices are still possible, and are a great and enjoyable way to get a work out and improve your game!

• Only 2 players are allowed on court at any one time. Please check out posters issued by England Squash on the link below, it will help to illustrate the current on court regulations. We are hopeful that these will be relaxed in the coming weeks and we will keep you up to date on any changes. With social distancing still in place, for now, we really appreciate your support in adhering to these measures to assist in keeping everyone safe.

Information on how to play 'sides' is on the 'Back to squash' link below

Just to reiterate, the courts will not be open until Saturday 25th July 4.30pm until 9.30pm- BUT courts are available to book now!! You will see that the booking is now listed in in the normal 45 minute slots but the next 45 minute slot is booked off to give the courts adequate ventilation and to cut down traffic in the club corridors. I have asked My Courts to change the booking fee to £6 on all courts to cut down on money changing hands.

Only members of the club can play and will be asked to take a temperature test and read a disclaimer before playing.

Please turn up to ready to play in your kit with your water bottle, towel, sweatbands 10 minutes before you are booked and take all kit bags and water bottles on court with you.

There are no shower facilities in use so you will have to leave the building straight after you have played and cleaned the court door handles.

Feel free to go home and shower and return to use the bar area which be a seated waiter service.

Members and spouses are welcome to come and use the bar area without playing. We do encourage people to pay contactless though.

Children are welcome to go on court with their parent or guardian conforming to guidelines but unfortunately children will not be allowed in the bar area short term.

All up to date information about getting back on court is on the England Squash Website
