Bar update preparation and painting
Hi Everyone,
Lots of questions about when the bar will be finished, painting started and finishing off.
The grant we received from Wren covered everything apart from the bar area and painting which will be paid for by the club plus some help from club volunteers with the painting and prepping.
I’m planning on getting some weekends together next week to see if we can make a start with decorating the changing rooms before moving on to the hall and bar when it’s finished.
There has been a hold up with the bar because before we could start any of our own work we needed the go ahead from the brewery who haven’t been the quickest in responding. We now have had the go ahead which means the old bar can come out and we can make a start in the coming weeks. We will still be reliant on the brewery fitting the new lines but things are now rolling.
There are still other finishings off in the changing rooms so please bare with us.
